Island Location : A Magical Island Escape Closer than You Think

TO BE A MILLION MILES AWAY IS CLOSER THAN YOU THINK.

Castaway Island, Fiji is a small, 174 acre private resort in the South Pacific not far from Fiji's main island of Viti Levu. "Castaway", or by its traditional Fijian name "Qalito", is a small reef-ringed island in the Mamanuca Group just 30 km or 20 miles due west of Nadi International Airport. Getting to Castaway in comfort is easy by boat, seaplane or helicopter.

The resort is a private island experience surrounded completely by the azure waters of the South Pacific Ocean. It offers the feeling and experience of being in the middle of nowhere yet is surprisingly close and accessible from the real world. The Fiji Islands sit at the crossroads of the South Pacific and is therefore well served by major international airlines, including Fiji's own airline - Air Pacific. Regular scheduled services operate from North America, Continental Europe and Japan in the north and from Australia and New Zealand in the south.

Approximate flying times to Nadi, Fiji’s international airport are: from Auckland three hours; Sydney four hours; Los Angeles ten hours and Vancouver via Honolulu twelve hours. Castaway Island is approximately thirty kilometers or twenty miles from Nadi.
